But really, the fact that your average prepper starts hoarding symbols of violence and wealth (guns and gold) rather than doing anything useful (learning how to grow food, make clothes, fix things, or heck developing community with neighbors) says a lot about their worldview.

Honestly... nothing they're not already saying as loudly as possible, I don't think. Every prepper I know wants you to know that they see humanity as inherently dangerous and that they think the second the "rule of law" goes away, someone is going to try and kill them in particular for reasons that aren't even personal. You don't have to look at what they're doing if you want to know how they see the world; all you have to do is ask and they will just plain tell you.

oh, yeah, i forget that's a thing other people aren't, lmao. Almost everyone I know - prepper or not - has a long list of people they'd like to see personally dead, if only they thought they could get away with it.

Some of this is obviously self-selecting bias. I don't know how to shut the fuck up about murder in real life, even though I've no intention of actually doing any of it, so people who don't like the thought generally wind up not hanging around me. But some of it is also just... I don't know, I forgot not everyone thinks like that lmfao
