Anyone have ideas why I'm like this?

Easy for me to consume and enjoy: books (text-based, I don't choose what happens), graphics-based video games (video-based, I choose what happens).

Hard for me to consume and enjoy: movies (video-based, I don't choose what happens), text-based video games (text-based, I choose what happens).
