Also, does it matter that we're in the US now?

My family is originally from Region A. However, my father, siblings, and I were born and raised in Region B, where Aians are the oppressors.

How much claim do we have on Region B's culture? Are we allowed to call ourselves Bians?

That's kind of a no-brainer for me -- of course you are culturally Bians b/c that's literally the culture you grew up in. Being "marked" as Aian doesn't mean you have any actual connection to Aian culture other than what is projected onto you.

Ah, I see. I think I'd still consider you an Bian over Aian b/c your parents weren't your only influence growing up, unless you just wanna be a rebel and say you're ABian.
