My workplace has me working bizarre hours, and (in addition to overtime pay) they're buying me breakfast/dinner.

I got avocado toast the other day. It was... okay. I'm still not a fan of avocado.

I feel like avocado is to the millenials what olives are to gen x. The people who love it love it, and the people who hate it have never been able to understand the appeal. You're the first neutral avocado opinion I've heard in years xD

I. Hate. Olives. SO. Much. (Ahem.) My oldest sibling is "eh" on them and our mother loooooves them and think we're weird. (Middle sibling hates them too, but MS can really only eat like five foods total and is incapable of feeling "eh" on ANYTHING so I wouldn't put much stock in that.)

It's like... okay, this sure is a food? It's basically tasteless to me, and the texture is eh, like, I'll eat it if it's in something I otherwise want or if I have no better option. My (late boomer) parents LOVE these things. To the point where I had to do grocery shopping for the whole family for a few weeks and it was the ONLY thing I was specifically instructed to buy.
