I posit that the "white woman being aggressive (in a racist/classist way) toward other people" (that is, being a Karen) phenomenon is a cross between the trashed bathroom concept and the "cis white gay guy who is angry that he's ALMOST at the top of the heap" brand of conservative.

I can explain my reasoning but not tonight.

Privilege as the licence to agress, agreed. I think I've seen a book about authoritarians to this effect from... Bob Altemeyer, I think?

Haven't read the book, so IDK what exactly it says, but I also think that a component of feeling powerless (whether that powerlessness is real is a different matter) is part of it.
