Honestly, I find characters to be pretty uninteresting and uninspiring when they're in a vacuum. Even character + fascinating world is unappealing.

But put several characters together, even in an empty room, and I'm all over that.

This is why all of my works (even the ones with, ostensibly, a singular protagonist-hero,) are about Groups of People Interacting a Whole Bunch.
