Saw someone who identified as an "anti trad" Christian, who was also pro life, anti sex work, anti kink, anti porn, and (reading between the lines) anti queer.

What the hell does "anti trad" even mean?

Lord, grant me the strength to kick the ass of anyone who mistreats me, the charisma to get along with anyone who doesn't, and the wisdom to tell the difference between the two.

I am choosing to believe that the Christian devil and god are very bitter exes, and interpreting everything in both the Bible and common belief in light of that.

First, a disclaimer on biases and sources. Orthorexia is not, at the moment, recognized by the major psychiatric manuals (DSM or ICD) and research on it is less common and more anecdotal than research on anorexia and bulimia. What I'm writing here is based partly based on case studies and testimonies reported online, and partly on my own observations of several orthorexics, chief among them myself and my oldest sibling. Fun fact: I had so little interaction with any form of Christianity as a kid that I didn't realize what a "godparent" was.

So when I read fairy tales that talked about "fairy godmothers" I just assumed that a godmother was a fancy, powerful type of fairy.
