Dear white people,

You're really not as good at guessing people's race/ethnicity as you think you are, and at this point you really need to stop because it's pretty racist.

(Not that I didn't find other worries to fill them, mind you)

On the day to day, the only thing that changed when we got married is that the nights of me lying in bed worrying "what if one of us gets hurt and ends up in the hospital, who's going to make decisions" ended.

I mean yes, don't commit crimes, but also?

One of the requirements for getting citizenship via your spouse, straight from the US government website: "Be a person of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the United States during all relevant periods under the law".

I have the sneaking suspicion that this little thing was put in so they could reject people for bigoted reasons without outright saying it.

Cops...

Went to a small protest in the rich people town not too far from here. We were the only people there under fifty, and the whole thing was seriously whitetastic.

Two cops watched us the entire time, as if they seriously expected a group of white Boomers to smash up the neighborhood.

Not the same thing

Here's a thought: before opening your mouth to complain about "Boomers", please take a moment to think whether you mean "people born 1945-1965" or "rich white people".
