To take the "a broken clock is right twice a day" metaphor literally... it really depends on what kind of broken it is.

A clock that's stopped (which... doesn't necessarily mean broken, maybe you just forgot to change the batteries) will be right twice a day. Assuming 12 hour time.

A clock that's consistently two hours ahead (we have one at my lab, it's cursed) is going to be right never, although more useful than the previous clock: you can read it and subtract two hours for the real time, whereas with the stopped clock, you have no idea *when* it's right.

A digital clock that's randomly flashing various numbers might sometimes show the right time. It also might give you migraines and seizures.

A clock with no hands/numbers at all is just a really fancy paperweight.
"Nonbinary" was the first gender word that I identified with. After years of subconsciously knowing that my assigned gender wasn't right, but also that being binary trans wasn't right either, it was a big deal to find the term.

So I don't know how to feel about the fact that I no longer identify with it thanks to all the nonbinary exclusionists peddling "queer is a slur" and "LGBTPN" to hurt me and mine.
