They don't understand why we're not close

My oldest sibling did this thing where, when I expressed an opinion, they would start shrieking at me about "but when you were SEVEN YEARS OLD you thought [opposite of opinion]!"

As if I had committed some sort of great crime by... changing my mind on whether pineapple tastes good after elementary school.
