Portal fantasy, except as it goes on you slowly realize that the world the protagonist came from was not our world but something much, much weirder than the world they stepped into.
strongly tempted to write this with my phenomenally broken "it's just the world, wym that's weird?" fantasy world now
[miniature saber tooth tiger: exists] "what do you mean cats only have four legs and two eyes, is something wrong with yours?" "what?" "where are the rest of its legs" "what??"
[sky: is green and full of spirally clouds] "haha but it's like red beyond the clouds, right?" "what? no it's green" "huh. do you at least have like the moons back there?" "....moons plural?"
