My high school psych class did an experiment: half a dozen students each did the Stroop Color-Word test, reading first the words and then the colors.

I had the slowest reading aloud speed, but I was the fastest, by a large margin, on naming the colors, and was the only one to do them perfectly.

(I did it by unfocusing my eyes/perception, by the way.)
