Note to self: do not write time travelers from the nineteenth century

I'm having a problem where I, the author, want a child character to be named a certain thing, but the main/POV character is her mom, whose personal preferences dictate that she would prefer a different name.

And I could go back and rewrite the character to have different name preferences, but I'm too lazy.

[sigh] [names the baby girl born in 2015 "Gertrude"]

Stop making me do this, please
