I feel disinterested bemusement about movies and TV, right up until people start questioning me about it or demand I watch something, at which point I insist that screens are rotting people's brains and destroying the very fabric of society.

Two things I wish people would stop saying when they see me and my yarn

"I've always wanted to learn to knit/crochet": do not say this unless you want me to stop everything and give you a lesson right then and there.

"You're so talented, I can't knit/crochet because I'm too stupid/lazy/bad at math": I do not remember RSVPing to your pity party.
