Problem exists between wheel and seat

I get in the car. I put the key in and turn on the dashboard. I set up my music and GPS. I switch to D and press the gas. The car doesn't go anywhere, so I start frantically looking for answers online.

Five minutes later, I figure out my issue and get the car going.
