I've been saying that I want to get my PhD "in two or three years" for about four years now.

Unfortunately my financial situation is still not anywhere near where that's feasible.

Oh man, I feel this. I'm trying so hard to get thru my MSW, and I really want to go for my PhD after, but getting thru my MSW is already going to take every penny we have an more, let alone all of my time. I have no idea how I could even dream of putting myself and partners and sibling thru me getting a PhD but honest to god I want to so badly.
