When I was a kid, my mother would buy these gallon things of ice cream. $5 each, and even with three very sweets-happy kids eating them, they'd last twoish weeks.
Now that I can't eat dead animal products, I have to look for ice cream that's made with sugar not processed through bone char - usually USDA organic. $3.50 per pint, lasts me alone a week and a half. Oh, and it's not available at one of the three closest grocery stores.
But please. Tell me again how veganism is sooooo affordable and convenient.
