I'd never even heard the expression "let's circle the wagons" until someone pointed out that it was racist.

Actually, I still haven't heard it outside the context of "don't say this, it's racist" for some reason.

Are we, like, sheltered millennial snowflakes from places with weird dialects or something? I mean, I know I'm a hermit who doesn't talk to people very often, but I've lived in like five different states in several time zones, so...
