Honestly, with the way the queer community treats allies (some of whom are straight, many who are queer people slowly working up to coming out) for the tiniest little things...

-writing transpeople as one word
-not knowing exact details of every historically queer event
-having said something bigoted 20+ years ago

...all of which I see from openly queer people all the time, by the way...

...I'm kind of getting the impression that our community would honestly prefer it if everyone who wasn't an uwu unproblematic cinnamon roll who came out as a toddler just dropped dead.
