[mumbling about how physics being seen as a "harder" and therefore "better" science than chemistry, which is in turn "harder/better" than biology, is a factor of misogyny]
I read "harder" as "more difficult" instead of "more abstract and theoretical" and was for a moment like. Physics is fucking baby easy, it's literally just applied maths, while chemistry requires you to completely reconfigure your brain to follow things on a level of single atomic bonds forming and unforming. And don't even fucking talk to me about biology.
I found physics much harder... but I think that had to do with the fact that my physics professors were snobby jerks who were trying to make the subject difficult.
Also my parents are physicists, and there's a wagonload of... issues... there. Misogyny being a big one.
