I think that the purple guy is fatter and has more "normal" facial proportions than the other guy, but yeah, somewhat.

Okay, I'm not totally losing my mind!

(It occurred to me that there's a nonzero chance that the blond guy was *based* on the brunet guy. The former is part of the art for Pathfinder 2E, published last year, while the latter is a Critical Role character, who was ported from Pathfinder 1E to D&D at some point. It's pretty likely that the artists for Pathfinder are nerds who watch CR.)
