"You should have stood your ground when they ignored your no instead of giving in" is an absolute fucking victim-blaming travesty and everyone saying it should feel bad.

Yeaaaaaaah... if you hear someone saying that their parent/spouse/friend/etc is abusive and you laugh it off as "spoiled millennials" or "entitled woman/minority" or whatever... I am going to assume you're also abusive.
