The idea that there's One Consistent Way that boys are socialized and then One Consistent Way that girls are socialized doesn't even hold together if you're looking at white middle class suburban families. Once you take into account that this is a small fraction of all people, well...

My parents raised me to never cry and that sadness was acceptable in only a few scenarios. Was that a factor of them raising me as a boy? No - it was a factor of them raising me as an Eastern European.

They also raised me to clean up after everyone. Was that a factor of raising me as a girl? No - it was a factor of them raising me as poor.
Man, we've built a society where men and transfeminine people who don't know what they are yet can't do anything even remotely coded as feminine without getting torn to shreds.

They put on a dress or heels or makeup and go out, and cis society goes "LOL man in a dress, what a faggot".

And if they do this and go to a space that bills itself as trans-friendly, everyone is all "excuse you, this is transmisogyny, you're just as bad as RuPaul you awful straight man" unless they adequately prove that they are transfeminine (and in some cases you need, like, a note from two doctors, a therapist, and a social worker, and guess how hard it is to get any of these people to sign off on your gender unless you're already presenting as hyperfeminine).
"Women don't like [whatever], they like [something else]!"

Who declared you the High Priest, Prime Minister, and Emperor of Women, Mr. Cis Dude?
